In 2019, Project I See You raised funds to remodel a stately, historic home in Central Denver to become a new lifeline for women coming off the street and out of incarceration or sex trafficking. In keeping with our work in the Dominican Republic, the house was named, Te Veo, which means “I see you” in Spanish.
When a woman moves into Te Veo House, she is given the opportunity to rest and take steps toward recovery and restoration, while focusing on finding long-term, sustainable housing. A woman’s stay with Te Veo can last anywhere from one day up to six months.
Residents of Te Veo House are supported by Project I See You with home-cooked meals, programming focused on health and wholeness, and intentional events throughout the year.
Teo Veo House has adopted the symbol of the butterfly to represent the transformation that women go through as residents of the home.
In collaboration with Open Door Ministries, we meet women where they’re at to provide a sanctuary for healing to take place. We help them rediscover their worth and to see themselves as God sees them.
Join us as we support women in this transformation!
